About the clinic

Our Center of Dental Care was established in 1994 as a progressive and comfortably equipped institution in E.Plater 84a street. Thanks to a high quality of services and reputation, the circle of pleased patients increases systematically. As our main target is to exceed patients' expectations, in Autumn 2006 we moved to a new and more modern and comfortable premises in E.Plater 18 street.

A novelty on an international scale is a fusion of a stomatological practice and a beauty salon. Such a combination improves greatly the aesthetics of face.

Cosmetic procedures

Teeth whitening – we recommend overlay teeth whitening, comfortable, absolutely safe, giving the most spectacular and long lasting effects. There is also a possibility of whitening Your teeth during only one visit, the whole procedure lasts about two hours.

Porcelain veneers - flakes of thin porcelain (0,5 – 0,7mm), very aesthetic. After being placed on teeth, they get an incredible durability. Thanks to them, it is possible to hide all the imperfections of natural teeth. The veneers never discolour, do not get darker and always look fresh and beautiful.

Inlay and onlay - a filling made of porcelain, done by a stomatological technician outside Your mouth. They are very durable, precise (often done under a microscope) and cosmetic – they imitate the features of a natural tooth very well.

Cosmetic corrections, rebuilding and fillings - we use various materials and techniques, depending on the state of teeth, but the goal remains the same – to restore a smile of Your dreams.

Tooth jewelry - a tiny bit of extravagance will lend Your smile an inimitable character and what is more, it is absolutely safe. It can be removed whenever You wish, because it is placed on a surface of a tooth with a special kind of resin.

Full porcelain crown - highly aesthetic onlay put on damaged or overcoloured teeth. It is made of porcelain only, no use of metal. They greatly reconstruct the structure and transparency of natural teeth. The lack of metal allows to avoid the effect of metal rim by the edge of the crown, as well as, so called “tattooed gums”- overcolouring of gums, that takes place when ions of metal separate from the crown.

Porcelain crowns and bridges based on zirconium oxide

Porcelain crowns and bridges based on gold and platinium alloy – works that have a worm colour of porcelain giving more natural look, they are extremely durable because of the way gold and porcelain join together. The edge of a crown does not irritate the gum and gold has an antibacterial property, that decreases a possibility of gum infection. What is more, we avoid a dark rim by the edge of a crown, so called, “a gum tattoo”.

Crowns and bridges based on pure gold in galvanoforming technology (99,7 – 99,9 % of gold) - this pure gold is biologically indifferent (does not cause allergies), galvanoforming is a very precise method.

Crowns and bridges based on base metal - chrome – cobalt alloy, it is standardized, allowed to be used in medicine, which was confirmed by corrosion tests, as well as biological researches. They optimally rebuild the function of chewing.

Partly removable works

• Skeletal denture supported on telescopic crowns – without precision attachments, comfortable, aesthetic and stable solution, fastened on 2 or 3 patient's own teeth, covered with special double crowns.
• Skeletal denture with locks – a solution without precision attachments, durable and comfortable, perfectly reconstructing the function of chewing. The elements that stabilize the denture are hidden behind the patient's teeth which are covered with porcelain crowns what guarantees amazingly aesthetic effects.

Fully removable works:

• Traditional skeletal denture – the base, namely the skelet, can be made of base metals alloy or titanium (lightness, biological volume and durability) or even of gold alloy, if wished or if necessary because of medical reasons. Mostly, it is used when a great number of teeth is missing. Stabilization is achieved by the use of metal fasteners on natural teeth.
• Elastic skeletal denture – no use of metal, they are very comfortable and aesthetic because the fasteners are of the colour of teeth. /li>
• Full dentures – elastic or acrylic.
• Full dentures fastened on implants – we use it when previous support of a denture is too weak.

Implants

One of the most modern solutions of completing the lack of one or a few teeth. It perfectly imitates the look and function of natural teeth. We use it when we need to place only one tooth in mouth (we avoid filing the next tooth) as well as a couple of teeth or even a whole set. The treatment consists of a surgical part after which, after 3 or 4 months of healing in a jaw and 6 months of healing in the upper jaw, we add the prosthetic part. It is the safest method of implantation, providing a great durability and having great aesthetic effects. The method is also the most comfortable because the implants, very soon feel as Your own natural teeth.

Surgical treatments

• Extraction, namely a removal of a tooth – we always use anaesthetics during this procedure after a deep consideration, whether there is a possibility to treat the tooth and save it using different methods.

• Resection of a top of a tooth's root – removal of only a top of a tooth's root with all the bacteria and infection around it

• Hemisection – cutting a tooth that has many roots, removing the damaged part and make use of the healthy one (as a pillar for bridges or crowns).

• Surgical extraction of a tooth – a more complicated extraction of a tooth that cannot grow out of the gum. It basically concerns the tusks and “wisdom teeth”

• Auto transplantation – removal of a tooth which after a root canal treatment, is placed back into its previous place in mouth.

Paridontological treatments

• Scaling - removal of a tooth tartar (from over and under the gums), finished with sand – blast cleaning (air – flow) and teeth polishing.

• Treatment against paradonthosis

• Correction of occlusion - it is a removal of ,so called, injury nodes, namely, places that are mostly exposed to overcharge

• Treatment of jaw - temple joint disorder – it helps to reduce and remove brigmus (gnashing and attrition of teeth ), it treats jaw aches, migraine as well as neck's stiffness.

Root canal treatment

In a great short cut, it consists in removal of the content of a root, cleansing and desinfecting of the canals and filling them with special materials. Such treatment often saves teeth that were at first preordained for extraction. Later they would have to be replaced by bridges or implants, which is a lot more expensive. It is also a treatment technique that prevents an infection from getting through the root into the bloodstream.

General stomatology

This part of dentistry deals mainly with preventing and treating tooth decay. At doctor's disposal there is a wide range of modern, light curing fillings as well as many different methods of treatment. All that is used to restore Your teeth their previous shine and function. The world modern trends aim at rebuilding the missing tooth's tissue using porcelain fillings (inlay/onlay) which are prepared in prosthetic laboratory, as more precise, durable and more beautiful than traditional fillings.

Taking care of healthy teeth but also of mental health of our little patients, we have prepared some special conveniences: a play room with toys and drawing tools screens in cabinets for children to watch cartoons during treatments prizes, for every child to feel appreciated and to encourage them to come back to his/her doctor colourful fillings for milk - teeth, the choice of colour we leave to a child to make him/her participate actively in a process of treatment
